My 01 20th anniversary maxima has about 120K on it and I am running into my first issues.

The exhaust rotted and started leaking. About a week later (before I replaced the exhaust) the ABS, TCS, and SLIP lights came on and stayed on. I know this doesn't sound related to the exhaust at all but I figured I would fix the exhaust first...

Exhaust is fixed but the lights are still on. Tried pulling the battery connection to reset but that didn't work.

How can I:

1.) Pull the diagnostic code. The auto-zone tool didn't pull anything.2.) Reset the lights.

Thanks,-Ken

To reset the ecu on 00 and 01 maximas you need to leave the battery unplug overnight. That should do it. As for getting the codes, i've always been able to pull codes out of a OBD II scanner... Edit. The OBDII scanner may not be able to read any problems with the ABS sensors or be able to read teh codes. It could be an ABS sensor bad or a relay or fuse... Now if you have a check engine light along with these being lit up then it could be Ignition coils.

I had the same lights come on with my 01 I30. The issue turned out to be a rear driver side speed sensor.

On my 2000 I30 these lights all came on for misfires due to bad coil packs. The TCS and SLIP lights come on sometimes when the fault has nothing to do with these systems. Not sure why - but when the two offending coil packs were replaced, everything was fine. That was a year and 8500 miles ago.

All the lights were on for me too! Took it to dealer and they replaced the MAF sensor! If you look it up it could be alot of different problems!
