Alternator is failing [early warning sign] not supplying the correct minimal voltage to ABS and TCS computers..............replace alternator and a new battery if more than 2 years old.

The car has been making buzzing noise at the start up.I guess it's TCS related, and after awhile it used to light up slip and TCS OFF signs. Now with all these lights on, the car doesn't even make buzzing noise anymore. The battery is almost new, just replaced it 2 months ago.I'll try to replace the alternator. Thank you!

Before you replace alternator check connections and use an alternator tester to measure ripple just to make sure. Could be that simple but unlikely.

Always uses an alternator from oem as aftermarkets [even BOSCH] have a very poor reliability record in Q45 application...............eventually people get tired of changing them and changing them and changing them and finally take the OEM advice.

The car stalled on last Saturday and had to call towing truck to haul it to local shop that always works on my Q.They called me this morning that they would replace the alternator with the one made by Denso (Japanese brand he said) and they weren't sure if they're OEM or not. Total came out to be around $530 including labor.I hope this one last... Thank you
