I've searched but can't really find anything so i'm in need of help. What in the hell did you guys do with the ABS actuator?.... i had to remove mine to get my wiring harness out... and i know i can't use ABS with my harness now that it's completed. (ecu's are different of course) So what i'm really asking is... the brake lines that lead out of the fenders and across the firewall that plug into the actuator.... what do i do with them and where do they go? Every picture that i have looked at of an RB install has just 4 hardlines running across the firewall and they bend down in a 90* angle on the passengerside..... where are they going? Thanx for the help fellas!

Put the actuator back in and just dont plug it in. With no power to the modulator it will revert back to basic (non-abs) brakes.

The 4 lines are for the 2 rear brakes, the RT FT Brake and the clutch.

why not just reconnect the ABS? the abs system has its own computer. its completely independant of the ECU.

My harness was done by mckinney and they removed the abs plug from the harness... no abs anymore... so i'm pretty much limited to reinstalling the actuator w/o the plugs

actually, the lines are 1 rear brake line, fr brake, clutch, and charcoal canister. I would just get the hardlines from a non-abs car. No point leaving the abs controller there cluttering up the engine bay if you'll never use it.

So would it be a better idea to go to autozone or something and pick up the hardlines for a 240 w/o abs?... and if so ...where would they plug into to circulate the brake fluid?

You'll probably need to go to a junkyard. or maybe ask one of the many people on the forums parting out S14s. You'll need all three hardlines and maybe the master cylinder also, not sure about that
