Hey Guys,

I'm building a daily/drag S14(95SE) . I have already had it turbo'd, but am about to put her under the knife again. I think the stock brakes suck. No other way to say it really. The ABS also takes up alot of room under the hood. I really want to lose the ABS. Unfortunaly, I'm all about go fast, but I know crap about brakes. Aside from using great pads and bleeding etc.

Any info on the ABS delete? Custom brake work doesn't scare me. I have a turbe bender and flare kit. SO new lines aren't really a problem. Any help at all will be appreciated. Thanks fella's...

ABS will stop you quicker than the loss of weight from the ABS unit will. Keep the (albeit ugly) ABS systema nd just upgrade the calipers and rotors. You'd be losing a lot of stopping dinstance unless you are going to full-bore track running with the car.

That said, If you're still interested in removing it, let me know....-Chet

.....if you do end up removing the abs, i will gladly take it off your hands.

shortly thereafter, look for a thread from me installing it in my 90 coupe.

Yikes. That's gonna be a tough one bro.

Did the 89-90 even have abs as an option? Aside from the abs unit, you need the abs front spindles/hubs and differential as well as the wiring harness from an abs car.

Still wanna swap to abs?
