ABS Rebuilders?

I replaced the leaking ABS unit in my 1990 Q with one out of my 1991 parts car.

Does anyone know of any rebuilders that would have an interest in the core? It seems a shame to toss it. I'm not looking to get cash, just to possibly keep a part in the supply chain as we attempt to keep the First Gen Q alive!

I also have a 29mm standard front sway bar that anyone who needs it may have for shipping. Appears straight. I replaced with 28mm "a" bar. Email me.

I haven't been able to find anyone who wants the liablity of rebuilding the ABS pumps. I did see them on Cardone.com, but it's been awhile.

Please post if you find someone who can rebuild em, mines leaking too!

Mine, too. I guess the other option is to pay 1400 for a new one plus labor. Somebody mentioned another option, but I am not sure what it was. Anybody knows? Does anybody know a good shop for Q45s in Dallas?

A-1 Cardone does all of the rebuilds as far as I know... it's a deal for $50 if someone needs a core to send off. Cores (leaky units) used to be easy to buy in junkyards for about $50, but have steadily gone up over the last couple of years since the demand has grown. You might put it on eBay if there aren't any takers here. I kept my old core in case I need to send one off again someday.

But if I keep all the cores I will run out of space. Aside from you, me, and aaacomp, I wonder how many other members have 2 or more Q's (yes, only one of mine goes...)?
