ABS Problems

My 91 Q45 ABS systems sometimes comes on and makes noise at low speeds while I am stopping. Is it safe to disconnect the ABS system.

Depends on what "safe" means... should be as safe as a non-ABS car. You might want to check the relay under the black box on the actuator. Do you have the service manual? If so I'd run the tests in there and try to find the problem...
