abs problem .......

for some reason on cold days my abs light will come on and sometimes the little abs motor or whatever that is will stay on too for hours after my car is off. and when i give the pump a little tap it will turn it self off. im confused as to whats going on :/

Interesting. I don`t know what it is but no one answered your question so bumpy she goes.

My ABS light is always on due to a faulty rear diff sensor. I haven`t really looked around but apparently it costs $500 for a new one from Nissan, not sure how much I could get one used. My ABS is fine though so right now it`s not a real problem.

yeah everything on mine is working fine. i just don't understand why it goes on on cold mornings and will stay on . i also don,t know why it will go off if i tap on the abs under the hood

Loose wire on the connector maybe? Or maybe somethin loose on the inside? (Not sure about 2nd question, I don't know ABS systems)

maybe i need to stop being lazy and take it apart to check it.
