I have gotten my harness redone and I am trying to plug in the ABS. One of my connectors is badly damaged and I can't tell which way is up. My wiring diagram shows only the colors on the harness which don't correspond to the colors on the ABS actuator pigtail. I was hoping someone could look at thier car and tell me which wires go where.

Dont bother. ABS sucks.

A good driver without ABS can outbrake an ABS car. Leave it unplugged.

While I agree that on a track an exellent driver can do better than the driver who merely sets off the ABS. The ABS in these cars it fantastic. In a straight line it allows for an almost extreme amount of lockup yet if you try and take turns way too fast and jam on the brakes the car is supremely well behaved. Also, the ABS can do better than a person when the traction is uneven under the wheels since it can manage the brakes through three channels instead of the one pedal. All technical debating aside, I drove the car for 4.5 years with ABS and 1.5 without and I want it back.

ANSWER:

In order to make this thread useful to someone who searches in the future, the answer is that the pictures above do depict the correct plug orientation. If the pictures are missing, the thin green yellow on the car's harness goes to red and the yellow wires are the only ones that match. I tried it and I've got my sweet sweet ABS back.
