Hi folks,

I'm trying to work out if I have ABS or not... is there anything obvious that would tell me?I've tried to skid and get it to either skid, or abs activate, but i didn't have the cahones to push it enough.

I thought I had an ABS valve block on the firewall to the right of the engine but looking at the manual that could just be a junction block for the brake lines....

I dont have a manual. Its a 1999 Jap Import Ga15 engine.

Go to parking lot or straight stretch of backroad. Accelerate to 15 mph or so, floor that freaking brake pedal! You'll either skid or activate ABS or find a weak point in your car  . Or, look at the brake system. No ABS means no wires going to any boxes or anything. No computer is needed for a manual brake system on the older cars. Usually just master cylinder to brake lines to calipers. Here's a picture of an N15 ABS pump unit... it has wires going to it as well as brake lines (disconnected in this photo).
