abs or no abs

ok im looking to get new brake pads for my 1991 nissan 240sx 5 speed and i dont know if i have abs system or no. Because 240's came with abs and without! How can u determinate that?

check if when you turn on the key there is an abs light, or check the engine bay pass side behind the shock tower there should be the actuator box. a thing with brake lines...

are those the lines that run from the master cylinder?

oh i just checked is that the thing that says ANTILOCK on the cluster?

alright brah, heres the thing you need to do.

go open your hood and check if theres this big machine looking thing on the passenger side of the engine bay all the way up by the firewall.

Its looks like a powerplant with all those brake lines coming out of it and going into it, and the lines go from the brake master cylinder, go to the abs unit, and then to the brakes

all i see is that brake lines from master cylinder goes towards the passenger side and then goes down towards the frame!

Then you don't have ABS.
