I have read a lot about ABS problems and suggestions to go on but this is a bit different:

1) I can find no relay to check or swap out...if such exists; where is it located?

2) The ABS module hums until I pull the 2nd 40 amp fuse...even with the truck off and the key out of the ignition.

3) If I do get the brakelines cleaned and blead(sp?); is there anything I shoud tell the tech as I watch and what should it cost and how much time should it take?

4) This is happening to my 1997 Pathfinder 2WD automatic with 184,000.

Thanks for the help and patience.

Relay should be under the hood in the relay box. Passenger side of the engine bay. Tell your tech there are at least 5 bleeders to address, 6 if your truck has a proportioning valve on the rear crossmember.

1st thing thanks for your time. I shave found the box on the passenger side under the hood but there are only two fuses and I can pull the middle one out and the module goes off but no ABS and the light goes on. No actual square relays that have to do with the brakes. SOS!!!

SO, I got my whole ABS module changed out by a mechanic shop and they blead the brakes about 4 times and the ABS was working fine even in 95 degree heat and also reverse. I drove it about 5 miles to a fill up station and when I cranked her back up; BAM!, freakin' ABS light on again. I called the mechanic and he swears up and down it had a bad module before changing it out and that it's probably a speed sensor. Says O'Reilly's will check the ABS codes and tell me which speed sensor/s need to be changed. WHAT SHOULD I DO AT THIS POINT??? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (please!)
