ABS n NON ABS

is it possible to use non abs calibers with ABS brake system. I found some from someone thats sale'n me a lot of stuff thats in good shape to get rid of it for 500$'s. I just want to make sure it will work or not before i buy it. thanks

They will work but the front rotors, calipers and brake pads are smaller on the non abs models so you would be down grading brakes that are already crappy from the factory.

ok thanks... what kind of brakes would you recommend that aren't an arm and a leg to get and install.

Q40 front brakes are good and really cheap. I have them on my s13 and they make a huge difference.I had to redrill the rotors to 4 lug though.
