Hi - I have a problem with my 2014 Q70L (RHD), with almost all warning lights up, including the Key Warning. Infiniti dealers closed down, and only Nissan willing to do the work. Mine had the car for diagnostic check and says that the ABS module needs replacing, and no one in the world has one, and Japan will not supply.
Does anyone know a good source of parts for RHD Infiniti?

Also, I wondered if the ABS Module could be repaired? Has anyone done this, or know of a repairer?

It seems a shame to scrap a beautiful car for something so mundane.

BTW - the car was imported by Nissan UK for a film "London has Fallen", and was owned and serviced by them until 2019.

This doesn't sound right, nothing about a failed ABS should cause a security lamp. Can you post a code sheet and a pic of exactly which lamps are lit?

Thanks a lot for the answer. I've been inspecting the car for myself and have found some mouse damage to various thin wires under the bonnet (hood?). Car has hardly moved during pandemic lockdown, but this is mad, never seen this before. I'll go take a snap of the dash.

Here's the lights. Almost a full house! (engine not running, IGN on)
I've just inspected the ABS Module connector, and checked voltage on terminal 16 - all checks out. Just going through the others as per the FSM diagnostics.
I've done the Auto Check too, and found that the tail & number plate lights are also u/s - will fix later, that's probably due to the rotten rodents

Thanks for the help!!

Update - part chewed cable to the ABS module found causing intermittent fault. Most of the lights are cleared, just left with the Intelligent Key warning.
Now that's more of a problem - I don't have a Consult 3+, and I think that there are many potential causes. The Dealer didn't give me a code list, just a bit of advice to scrap the car.

That's not a security light, just a "no key" warning. First, try a new battery in the fob. If that doesn't work, try using the "Infiniti logo" end of the fob to press the start button. There's a passive RFID system inside that end of the fob that functions as an "emergency start" in case the fob gets drowned or quits for any reason. There's a ring antenna around the start button that reads it.

Super job - thanks for the good advice, a new fob battery was the "key" to that problem.
Last one is the pop-up hood warning light.
Just taken it out for a quick spin along the motorway, all good, no troublesome gear shifts and the hybrid system works well.
I'll post progress on the PUH error

Cheers!

That's so far beyond sad that I'm speechless. Incompetent dealerships like that make me nuts. I understand that a Nissan dealer won't see Infiniti hybrids every day of the week, but every Nissan dealer has access to exactly the same manuals and tools as an Infiniti dealer, as well as a technical help line just like Nissan/Infiniti TechLine here in America. There's simply no excuse for, "Scrap the car," especially over what turned out to be a few rodent-chewed wires. OMFG!

Thanks everyone for the help and good wishes. The good news is that my Q70 is back in action, and I've found the last of the insulation damage - to the pop-up hood wiring, not through to the metal, so a simple fix with some shrink wrap.
Now to exterminate the pests....

Too cool!

If you don't mind the smell of peppermint, peppermint oil to rats and squirrels is like sunlight to vampires. Once you chase them out, check inside the wheel well covers for nesting materials, that's the spot most critters like best.

I love the smell of peppermint, and have some essential oils to hand. That's a great recommendation!
Here's the car today, & not smelling of Thames water....
Cheers!

Great looking car. So the Q70 in the UK has the M's front end? Kinda interesting.

Well, I guess that the car is possibly an Australian or Hong Kong specification? The speedo is in km/h rather than mph, fuel is in litres (like the UK) and weirdly, the range is in miles and the navigation counts down in yards! There are no japanese pictograms, everything is in english on switches and screens. The manual is japanese and is for a Nissan Cima!
Anyway, I love the car - the soft suspension copes well with the rural roads, and on the motorway, its almost totally silent. The seats are wonderful, and the driver aids have never let me down - the lane keeping, distance assist and the radar cruise control - on that subject, the cruise cannot be set to anything higher than 114 km/h, which is 68 mph (motorways are limited to 70, but who does that?). If I could get into the software....

Thanks again!

Haha 2km's below the limit?

I bet that pisses everyone off. I can tell you no such limit exists on the canadian version (also in kph).

The M was sold during one year with the new naming Q70 without the facelift. Same as US i think.

BTW the story of StuartBrad's car is amazing !!!
