The ABS light came on the other day and I just figured it had to do with the breakpad low warning that is always on. Well, I don;'t think that is the case anymore. When I turn off my 94 Q45, there is a vibration like a fan is running. It is the ACTUATOR that is still running when the car is off. It is draining my battery which now seems to be the least of my worries. What is the problem? Can I fix it myself? Please help.

You need a new ABS sensor. Pull the one that isn't working out. It will prevent the ABS pump from running and burning itself out.

thanks for the info. I just pulled the fuse. It has been constantly running for 3 days. oops. You are talking about the sensers at each wheel?

Probably not the sensor! The typical cause of your problem is a relay sticking at the actuator... I'm not sure how the actuator on the 94 is set up - but the 90-93 have a plastic cover with two black relays under there. It isn't unusual for one of them to stick...

What sticks? Is there moving parts in them? I will check it out.

Thanks Heath!
