ABS light ON after z32 brake swap

need some help..... a few months ago i did a z32 front brake swap on my s14 and after i noticed my abs light came on. just wondering if this is a common problem and is there a way i can turn the abs light off. i think i read something a while back that says to just turn the ABS of but i to keep my abs...i need some suggestions as i am home for the next two days and figured i should try to fix it

1) Begin cluster removal.2) Remove ABS light bulb.3) Reinstall.4) Done.

i'll be done with my swap either today or tomorrow. i'll check in to post whether my abs light comes on or not.

finished the swap, everything is working properly, abs light is not on. don't know where yours went wrong

that sucks maybe i f***ed up one of the sensors on accident will i was bangin out the dust shield.....ima have to go over everything once i get some new pads and rotors.

did you upgrade teh bmc as well? i did the swap 100% so i'm wondering is that has anything to do with it.

nope. i didnt do the BMC yet. only thing that i changed out were rotors, calipers, and brake lines.

Yea that would work, hopefully it doesn't have something to do with the abs system all wrong or did you already delete the abs system?

nope...i don't want delete abs...anyways do u guys think the ABS light could have came on if i turned the car on for a few moments while i had all my brake components off and disconnected. maybe that cause the ABS computer to think i was faulty?

That could be it. Not sure how the sensors work though. You should try resetting your ECU. check out KA24DEvelopment.com there is a good write up over there.
