1991 2+2 NA Import Swapped So I just put an engine and transmission in this car, the factory engine had 232,xxx and still ran pretty good but the the cam seals were going and the engine was getting a little tired, syncros were gone in third and completely Shot in forth, metal teeth chunks came out of the liquid metal looking fluid. I got the car and only put 200 miles on it before I did this and a grocery list more work to it, probably $4.5k invested by now including the purchase of the car $1500
....Anyway Thanks for all you guys help, love this forum and the people on it, just joined but I have been a mechanic for 5+ years, but need some z32 expertise
Never had abs problems before although never locked the brakes completely up to see if they activated. After the swap the brake master cylinder cylinder was low on fluid don't know if I just never checked it and it ran itself low or what but ended up that it would barely stop the car petal to the floor on my first test drive... Should have added fluid but didn't. I heard the abs activate a few times then antilock brake light came on. Took the car to work today to tie up the loose ends and give it a full brake flush, bled the abs bleeders first then rr lr rf lf (not what fsm recommends but I would think it should still work) petal feels normal again but light is still on. light won't go off at all, not if you unplug the battery not if you cycle the key while rolling. Did I try to pull the codes yet, No there is 5 inches of snow on the ground right now and I cant drive it even 1 min over 19mph (and I'm getting it plated tomorrow) So......
Does the actuator burn out easily? Any Ideas to help my diag go faster as I don't have a garage and can't hardly get time to work on it at the shop
