ABS Kick in noise...the CLUNK sound...

Is it possible to get this sound taken away? cause its really irritatting and does not sound like its a 40grand car...

anyone look in to this? i took it to the dealer and they said they wont do anything about it, cause they cant fix it, since its not a "problem"

Kinda have to live with it I guess. I can understand your frustration though. Its a "normal" sound for the vehicle.

ya i don't like that clunk but the thing that really bothers me is if your doing like 80 MPH and someone cuts you off or something and you step on your brakes sorta hard (NOT hard enough to hear tires screeching), the car starts to fish tale really bad..... kinda like on on video games when you tighten up the front brakes and make the back brakes really weak and then play with it. to me it doesn't seem all that safe, i mean when your going a little faster and then need to stop, the car starts swerving all over the place for no reason. here in Cali it's a daily thing to get cut off while driving..... has anyone else had this problem with the brakes? hopefully soon ill get some more money and just upgrade the brakes like the cars at the SEMA show

Not much you can do to prevent fishtail on a FWD car. The clunk is normal for this car. Your best bet would be to firmly grasp the steering wheel when pressing the brake pedal to prevent the steering column from going crazy. It should tighten up the car for the duration of your braking distance.
