I just got my car running, bled the breaks button everything up got her out of the drive way nice and slow taking it all in and put her on first, then second then as i reached the end of the road i realized "NO BREAKS!!!" pumpt several times breaks started to grab alittle but i was getting close to the neighbors so i used e-brake.Any clues? Can i bypass ABS somehow? Im right there, I cant belive it. Your input is really appriciated guys. Thanks

your brakes will still work without your abs module hooked up to anything.

it sounds like you need to keep bleeding your brakes

why were you bleeding them to begin with?

well first of all youre doing it backwards. you start at the farthest away from the master cylinder.

RR, LR, RF, LF.

secondly, i meant HOW? like are you gravity bleeding? vacuum bleeding? pump and open method? etc

theres nothing wrong with that i was just curious.

make SURE you dont run the master dry

you can always try gravity bleeding too. it takes longer, but you can do it solo and it works just as well.

basically jack the car up, remove the wheels, open 1 bleeder, wait. the fluid will drain out and just wait till its new, clear, not-bubbly fluid.

What conversion? Skyline/Z32 calipers or are you referring to the engine swap? If it is the calipers, make sure you didn't install the calipers on the wrong side. If the left is on the right and the right is on the left, your bleeder screws will be on the bottom instead of the top and air gets trapped in the caliper.

Sorry guys, having a computer issue too. Anyways, ive always had my conversion (wrong i guess) but ive never had this problem. I have bled them again ......... ive changed out the brake booster also...... nothing! Im beginig to think it may be my MC? Could it be? I have looked for leaks and there has been none present. So i came about the booster since it resorts to air pressure... nothing! MC, would you guys think could be the culprit??

Get a friend and have him sit in your driver seat. Pump 3 times and hold the pedal down. Crack the bleeder open, air/fluid will rush out... when it stops close the bleeder. Your friends foot should be on the floor at this point... have him pump and repeat until you get only fluid. If you put a small piece of hose on the bleeder and put it in a cup of clean brake fluid it should show air bubbles and then will be a fair safe incase your friend takes his foot off the brake before you close the bleeder.

Start with the furthest wheel from the brake master cylinder and end with the closest.

O yah a third friend might help to keep the fluid level in your master cylinder up.

It could be a different issue but i thought ide throw in my 2 cents and tell you the one of the easiest ways i know to bleed the brakes.

have you tried bleeding the ABS unit itself and then the calipers? If that doesnt work you prolly have a bad master cylinder - this happened on my dads car

try bleeding the system while its running. The brake booster will put more force pushing more air out of the system. I have had to do this on a few cars.

Make sure the ABS actuator (block w/ all the lines running to it) is electrically disconnected. Supposedly this is a must for bleeding newer Nissans although i've never had a problem. Good luck....
