I have touched on this in other topics, but I felt compelled to ask if someone has any knowledge on the ABS system. In particular if there is a relay I can access to see if it's bad. I looked the best I could in the FSM. I am aware of the fusible links, and the 10 amp fuse, but I was hoping there is a relay that could possibly be bad.
What had happened was, I changed the passenger side bearing hub without removing the sensor. I broke it. The pump would run everytime I would turn the van on. For a little bit. Fast foreward to 3 weeks ago, and I went out to the garage to hear the pump running with no key in the ignition. I unplugged the electrical connector at the pump, and tested it to see if the van would stop, and tail lights would come on with brake lamp. They did. Speedo wouldn't work, and neither would cruise. So I re-plugged in the electrical to the abs module. it would still pump at times without the key in the ignition. Two weeks ago, the pump noise stopped altogether. Last week, I got a Nissan manufactured, brand new abs sensor. I took out the old one, and put in the new one. I was hoping the ABS, Slip, and Trac. Cont. lights would stop illuminating. Along with the red Brake light on the dashboard.
That is not the case.
I really need help and was hoping someone has experience in possible pointing me to a fix, although I fear I might have to replace the ABS unit.
So, anyone knows of a possible blown relay? Thanks!

I would go through the self-diagnosis of the ABS system, or see if you can pull the DTC's for the ABS system and see what that says. Not the end-all to determine the problem, but will help point in the right direction.

(wishes I had a consult for this) I have no idea how to do the self diagnosis for the ABS. I looked at the fsm and probably did not notice it. I have an OBD2 scanner but it doesn't have the capability to see ABS troubles.

I looked through the FSM as well, and I didn't see anything for a self-diagnosis w/o consult... That sucks! Honestly, I would probably pay a dealer or shop that has the capability to read these types of codes to do a diagnosis to at least see what the computer things is wrong... Otherwise (unless you're super handy with a VOM), you're just going to be guessing.. I have no problem hunting down electrical problems with a VOM, but I think in this case I'd probably just take it somewhere and have them read the codes.

Well, I found out that part of the issue is the Duralast bearing assembly I put in, does not have the abs capability. Something they fail to tell you on the Auto Zone website, and the counter help had no knowledge of it either. So That's a problem.
TIP: If you are replacing a front wheelbearing on the cheap, Keep this in mind. Yes, you have a working bearing, but no abs.

***Update*** I went to autozone and had them pull out the exact hub, Lo, and Behold, There is the ABS magnet inside of it. My last post was incorrect. The 91 dollar cheap bearing DOES have the ABS magnet. (I tried to edit my last post but cannot)
