My problem isn't with the AD22VF brakes as I've been usin ghtese on my B12 for years already, but the rear calipers and their brackets. I was sent some rotors that were cross drilled and slotted for the bigger brakes or ABS on the NX2000. The problem is the rear rotors are larger than the ones that were previously on my car. These rear rotors require bigger calipers and brackets in the rear to accomodate them. So are there two size rear brake set-ups for non-abs and abs sentras and nx2ks?RED_DET wrote:NX2k brakes same size ABS or not. SE-R brakes, smaller than NX2k brakes, but still same size abs or not. The difference between the different size nx brakes is this: you need to get the brakes that come from a Japanese manufactured NX2k. This should be a question they ask you at the parts store. If you don't get those, the nx2k brakes will be (US manufactured) the same as the se-r brakes, ad18vf, you want ad22vf. You will also need the torque members for the ad22's as well.
Got ya! So are there any cars that have the larger calipers on them before I decide to send the rotors back?RED_DET wrote:I think your answer leads back to what I said earlier. If the brakes you got on the rear now are from a NX2k manufactured in the US, then yes they will be smaller than the brakes front or rear from a NX manufactured in Japan.
Then back they go !RED_DET wrote:Not that I now of. The NX2k is the most common brake up grade.
