has any body been able to pull codes from ABS using the data link connector . grounding "l" terminal as stated on the FSM . I've tried several times sticking a wire into the lavender/white wire at the DLC them grounding the other end, no luck. I cant get the ABS light to blink or am I grounding the wrong wire? and which color it is ? I have my car running beautifully now after doing so much work replacing timing belt , water pump , alternator ,starter , fuel injectors oil pan gasket redone , egr tubes cleaned out ...the only thing its I cant get rid of this freaking ABS light...

of all the forums that I frequent and contributed such as : audi's . dodge rams, z28 ,traverse this is truly the worst twice I've posted topics NO RESPONSE AT ALL , guess u have part of small known members to get any help

Get real! It has been only 2 days and you did NOT[ Specify the year and version of your vehicle! It really does make a difference!

I'll bet all those other forums have 4 to 10 times the members as this lonely little J30 forum for a car that was produced for a very limited number of years with production that ended almost 20 years ago.

ANYWAY.... it's a known issue with the J30s... ABS pump gets stuck on and burns out. My '97 had the same issue, it needed the ABS unit replaced.
