well i was driving to the gas station when i got a little sideways coming around one corner. Well after doing that my brake pedl got stiff. after driving for a little distance the car felt like it didn't want to go. well i stopped to see what was going on and well all four of my rotors were smokin. the brakes were on the whole time after getting sideways. i heard about brakes locking up sometimes but not all four. how could this have happened?

mine is the same, except i didnt go sideways for it to do that. i was just driving normally one day to school, and it happened. it wouldnt go to third gear without wanting to stop, it;s like the car wants to stop on its own, every time i pushed the clutch in, it just stops. on an incline, car wouldnt roll backwards, it;s like the e-brake is on the whole time i tried to drive. it's horrible.

how do i fix it?

i'm not too familiar with Nissan's ABS systems, but perhaps a check valve in the ABS unit was closed off and kept the fluid compressed. Try disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery and see if that doesn't reset the computer.

Add more freeplay on the clutch pedal by adjusting the rod under the dash...this will allow that built-up pressure to release.

Weird that it just happened all of a sudden...?
