Each motor has its advantages and disadvantages. The VG being a USDM available motor can be put into your 240 and still be smog legal, while the RB will never be legal since it is a motor that was never available in the USDM market. Parts for the VG are more abundant in the US since there are so many mods for the 300zx. The vg will give you better weight distribution, since it is a V6 it is slightly shorter than your current KA both Length wise and height wise. It will be a little more expensive to put in since it is a rather uncommon swap, so most parts will have to be custom made. check out this article for an Idea of what needs to be done. Even though the one in the article is a VG30DETT the idea is the same.
