? About tps on rb20 det

ok my tps has two plug ins the one with the harness what does it do and my other one only has 2 wires is that normal there is 3 pins

so what does the other plug do

one is for volatage sent from the ecu and the other is measuring the resistance at the tps. i think

my car and fsm are about twenty miles away. if no one else will check for you i will look tomorrow

the reason i ask is this morning my car was idling at like 3000 rpm and i unplugged that and it dropped dow to about a grant but it was going up and down than i plugged it back in it went up to 3000 steady i messed with my maf plug in and it dropped down ????? it always wants to idle at a differant spot

sounds like you may have a few places to look. you need to start eliminating possibilities.

maf wiringboost/vacuum leak (most likely)tps i have had a boost leak that would be intermittent and do allkind of weird stuff.build the boost leak tester that one of your rb forefathers did a right up on.every home mechanic that is dealing with boost should have one.i have found numerous leaks as well as a cheap intercooler clamp

will a bad tps cause a car to die i re did the maf wiring and still wants to die when im driving or sometimes when idling
