Post

Well its been awhile since I posted anything on here, but I'm about to jump back into the Z game head first. I bought a '94 NA a year ago, and it was a blast, pretty clean, but then life happened. We bought our first house, wife started griping about "unnecessary luxuries" (whatever that means) and eventually I got tired enough of her complaining that I sold the car. Life has thrown us another curveball, and we find ourselves moving from Virginia to San Diego. I'm heading out there this coming Thursday, and she's coming a few months later. She knows I need to buy a car, so she says "get something with a back seat and keep it under $10k. So of course I found a car that has no back seat and a little north of what I'm supposed to spend haha. Here she is:

Obviously she looks like she's in great shape, and bonus points for being in a nice, dry area so I'm not too concerned with rust. The owner just had the 120k timing belt change, and says it runs like new. Assuming that the cars never been raced or abused, I was wondering how much life the turbos had on the before I need to start thinking about having them replaced. I'm not looking to turn this into a 500hp monster, I just want to cruise and have her look nice. I'll probably do exhaust/intake/ecu and maybe when the clutch starts to go (how much longer should it have left?) I'd probably upgrade that and the flywheel.

Anyway, I should be picking her up on Thursday, so I'm pretty excited, and I'm also happy to be back on the forum, looking forward to hearing some expert opinions, thanks in advance!
