Found a 2007 G35 with 48k miles, sport package and silver exterior for $22k. Scores above average on CARFAX. What should my target price be? Trading in a 2001 Honda Prelude SH with $4200 left on the note, which is upside down now. Anyone ever have the dealer pay off the balance on a trade in and not include it in the price?

My other option in this high gas price environment would be a 2004 Toyota MR2 Spyder which gets 26 city/32 highway. Found one with 16k miles, for $16k.

Welcome to NICO

If there is nothing wrong with your Honda I would keep it and not think about adding to your debt in these uncertain times. Gasoline could very well be $4 to $5 a gallon in the not too distant future. That will depress the value of vehicles not getting great gas mileage.

Honda's are cheaper to run, maintain, and repair than an Infiniti.

I have thought about keeping the Prelude and rebuild the engine but it's powers of attracting asian chicks has faded. The main purpose of the flash car is to pick up asian chicks and the dating of said chicks.

The Prelude is 10 years old already, need a new ride. But, I'm surely going to miss the whine of the VTEC.

If you already worry about the gas milage probably the G is not your best option. Also not sure if that is good for picking up asian chicks.
You can always get a Buick regal or a cadilac cts and pick up chicks with that. You just have to change locations from high school to a nursing home. Lol

id say wait a little longer and pay down that balance... all the dealer is going to do is add it the the finacing, not the cost of the car. so your payment will be higher...

lmao at the asian chicks, i hope thats a joke... but ill say my g37x gets looks from the girls all the time, they especially love the touch screen, rear view camera, and back seat :)
