Trading in a 2001 Honda Prelude SH with $4200 left on the note, which is upside down now. Anyone ever have the dealer pay off the balance on a trade in and not include it in the price?
My other option in this high gas price environment would be a 2004 Toyota MR2 Spyder which gets 26 city/32 highway. Found one with 16k miles, for $16k.

If there is nothing wrong with your Honda I would keep it and not think about adding to your debt in these uncertain times. Gasoline could very well be $4 to $5 a gallon in the not too distant future. That will depress the value of vehicles not getting great gas mileage.
Honda's are cheaper to run, maintain, and repair than an Infiniti.
