So after midterms, I'm going to start stripping my interior (for reassembly, no vultures please) on my RMS13. Anything you guys would like me to find or take pictures of? Interior frame structure? Bolt holes? Anything? I'd hate to do all this work and have been able to help someone else in some way without using the oppurtunity to do so.

Anyway, if anyone's wondering, I'm going to attempt the impossible and get rid of ALL the rattles, squeaks, creaks and taps I'm sure we're all getting used to in the older 240sx's. Wish me luck. LOL.

Yeah, the big one is somewhere between the firewall and the air vents. Then I got some plasti-squeak around the rear seat I have to address.

Bastard noisy interior!

No, a loud radio = cranking blown speakers = more rattling, this time, amplified. I'll be replacing the audio stuff in the process of reassembling the interior, but I also want to have a relatively quiet cabin when all I want to hear is the RB.

I guted my rear interior one evening. Helps out alot more space to store stuff and you have to care about messing up your interior.

I can't hear my interior squeeks, although I'm 99% positive they're there. It's just that the loud *** tapping of my lifters covers it all up. And my speakers suck *** so music don't help too much :p

Cool project. I keep checking your squeak/rattle blog every so often.

I'm going to be doing the same on my S14 at some point, very thoroughly. Right now I'm trying to isolate a noise that I think has something to do with the driver's side window.
