So I've been enjoying my 2k q45 a/e more than I expected to and I'm about to service it in a week. Things I'm having done: coil packs, oxygen sensors, fuel filter, air filter. I want to change all of the belts but I'm not sure what belts to buy. I also wanted to change the knock sensors and transmission filter. When I accelerate the temp needle goes all the way down to cold. The other nite I started the car cold and just headed to the highway and it just cut off on me. It started right back up but I thought that was worth mentioning.
What else am I missing? The car has almost 200k miles. Plus there's the ticking at startup that used to go away but doesn't anymore. I want to try marvels mystery oil next oil change. Please help. It also squeals on cold start ups that's why I wanted to change the belts.

The squealing was from low power steering fluid. I fixed the engine ticking with mobil 1 15w50 it's a pretty thick oil and made the car feel heavy for the first few miles. I'd say drive moderately for about 100 miles. I'm sure marvels mystery oil is a great additive, but m1 is a great oil as well. The car is so quiet now. Can't wait to get the shocks.

Typically a heavier oil will fix the ticking. Congrats on that! I do not know how well the 15w-50 will hold for an entire oil cycle or even multiple oil cycles. I can tell you my Vh45de although different than your vh41de has responded well for 200k+ miles of 0w-40 changed at 10k-12.5k mile intervals.
