Hey im a little confused by the instructions for the prokit. They say i have to trim my bumpstop but im not sure if its only for the sportsline or for both sportsline and prokit. Anyone knows?

Also, on tirerack.com it says the KYB boots act like my bumpstop or something like that, will i need to trim them too?

Thank you very much!

Tom

Whats with this bumpstop business? I just installed spring onto shock perch, put the boot on the shaft, capped it, screwed it, decompressed.

Unless I'm mistaken, both the OE and KYB boots have the bumpstop as part of the boot. It's all one big rubbery piece.

Some coilovers have a funny little bumpstops but no boot, and I think I've seen little yellow Koni bumpstops....useless trivia.

Anyway, I believe the trimming of the bumpstop has to do with the lack of suspension travel inherent in the S13's. I don't know if you need to do it on ProKit-Sportline or both. You could always call or email Eibach, but I'm sure someone here will know. :)
