I am about to go pick up a set of Kazera KZ-A's in Chrome and i just want to make sure of one thing. I know the bolt pattern matches based on the cars he said he took it off. ('97-ON mitsubishi galant, 02-ON honda civic si hatchback. plus i also found the spec sheet for the wheels from the company and ALL the 5 lugs for this wheel area 114.3 However, the actual lug nut size on these cars is 12mmx1.5 on both and for the altima its 12mmx1.25. Will these wheels still fit my car?Mitsubishi: http://www.discountedwheelware...e.cfm

Honda:http://www.discountedwheelware...e.cfm

Altima: http://www.discountedwheelware...e.cfm

Please, i greatly appreciate any help as this is urgent b/c i told him i would come today to pick them up.

i would think sothat bolt size is just for when the rotor part goes in from the civic sishouldn't affect you but mines well get another opinion

I'm not sure if the 1.5 has anything to do with the thread pitch or not, but if it does, then you wouldn't be able to use the same lug nuts that come with the rims. You should be able to use your stock lug nuts or buy some new ones in whatever size you want though. In the end, you need the same thread pitch that your car has currently, because that isn't going to change with the new rims. (studs in the rotors)

edit* sorry yes the 1.5 is the thread pitch, so you would need to use your stock lug nuts or buy new ones if the rims come with 1.25 thread pitch lug nuts.

EDIT for clarity:

12x1.25 is the stud thread/pitch. The threading has nothing to do with wheel fitment. What you need to verify is that the lug spacing/pattern is correct, and it seems that you have verified that the wheels are 5x144.3 lug spacing.

Since you are going to aftermarket wheels, you need to use the correct lug nut style. There are two things to consider: 1) lug nut threading; 2) lug nut seat shape.

1) As mentioned, the Altima nuts are 12x1.25 thread.2) See my 2nd post below.

REPEAT: Do not use OEM lug nuts with aftermarket wheels unless they have the same seat shape. Most OEM wheels use ball (radius) shaped seats whereas most aftermarket wheels use tapered (conical) seats.

thanks a lot man.

you're definitely right. i just got back. the wheels fit on right just right but my stock lugs are a little to fat to get the wrench in to tighten them so i just need some new lug nuts.

so yea i just picked up some Kazera KZ-A Chrome 18" x 8.5 wheels for 400 bucks! and they're in great condition. so far just this week i've gotten the stillen lip painted (in the process) the mustache painted black to match and these wheels. Once i get my tires put on i will post pics of all the mods!

haha! i just was at the store looking at new lugs and they all seemed unappealing, thanks for the link!

And my wheels weigh 40lbs on the nose W/ tires and they are chrome. (which according to xeene and his wii fit "45lbs with tires according to wii fit, tire weighs 20 lbs so do your math." is less than the stockers. granted they'd weigh less if they werent chrome but i got the 2.5, so while i obviously (like everyone) think about my cars performance with respect to every mod, its not like i'm driving a turbo charged 3.5L v6 (although i'd love to be!)

uh, please forgive the noobness but how do i post pictures?
