Coupe or Sedan? What exactly would you like to know?

The HP in the G is actually more than the EVO...

Sedan. I know there is more HP but it weighs more too.

Well it's worlds apart from the EVO. More of a refined luxury vehicle, that can carve corners if need be (especially the coupe). I thought about the EVO myself, but after doing some research, I've found that the EVO engine just doesn't compare to the G35/350Z's 3.5L. It's ranked one of the 10 best engines of all time.

The interior of the EVO also didn't appeal to me (my wife has a base model lancer ES). The G35 is more about getting you there in comfort, safety, and style.

Not sure on dealer incentives, however Infiniti has a winter sale's event every year...you might get a decent deal. Though I'm not a fan of leasing, the G's resale is very high, so you'll be in a good position at the end of the lease-provided you stay within your mileage. I don't know what else to say...I love my car.

Check out Infiniti's website for details:

Lol yeah thanks for the help. The reason im still going to get an Evo in the future is how "mod-friendly" it is. Ive been in love with them ever since I was in the 6th grade. Think i could get some sort of loyalty deal from infiniti considering my dad has a 06 M45?

Be careful with modd'ing the EVO...that engine isn't very reliable (its really high-strung), and if you over-do it, you could cause damage. A friend of mine upgrade the turbo and boost controller on his 05 MR, and through a bearing.

If you mod it, don't skimp!

Two totally different cars!

I doubt you can get any perks from Infiniti...Mitsubishi and Dodge are the only ones I know who do the loyalty thing.

Speaking from my own expierence, I drove a 2004 WRX with mods and enjoy the turner sciene. I have driven Evo's and STI's and I am still a big fan.....

However, the cars always felt as though it was missing something for me which was refinment and comfort. I finally bought a 2007 G35 Sport and I have to say that I am very pleased. It has the power, comfort and luxury that I wanted. I am still breaknig the car in with a 140 miles on it but taking it up to 100 was effort less and 0-60 puts you back in your seat.

G35 is the way to go...

natsirt and G_Whizz, Maybe you can send some of that 'power' my way. After 3000 miles in my new G, going from Savannah to Key West, to over 6000 feet in Colorado, I find the power lacking, not much torque, however the handling, and stiff sport suspension offers little compromise...just the way I like it. I think this car with a factory reliable 375-400 hp, at least a 300 lb weight loss, wider wheels/tires (pushed out) would give it a 'total package' in my book.

FYI, I have yet to test the stock brakes on the track and see at what point they start to fade so I'm looking forward to getting the car on an open track with the local SAAC club this spring.

Build quality overall is impressive and well thought out. I did notice every dark colored Infiniti at two dealerships suffered from orange peel. I'm sure it has to do something with the newer, more EPA friendly paint application process, but it did kinda bothered me to see it on a nice car. It's not really that big a deal and probably something only I would notice on my black G...
