Thanks for coming in! I have included pictures

Pretty much this has been a 6-7month build process even though i didnt really work on it over winter, all fluids in and ready to start her up i think, wire harness was professionally done if you need to know.

Anyway here are some of the questions i got

How many grounds should the motor have? I got the one on the side of the block onto the frame and then the negative battery termanal, then there is that little plug in one above the exhaust manifold, should i do more grounds to the frame? In different spots? or? (No picture)

**Is this a ground wire or what is it? It comes out of the lower harness with the wires that goto the fuse box and the positive battery termal connection Picture 1+2

**Grounding ECU, just run a wire onto the ecu and the frame? can someone give a little explanation? Picture 3+4

thank you so much

I have one 4 gauge grond wire going from the block to frame. Thats all you needI did the same thing to the ecu and looks goodand that wire from the lower harness is a ground wire.Your over thinking it! Hook those up and start it up Who made your harness if you dont mind me asking?

^^ haha

so that ground wire is to the block? (from lower harness)i got a buddy club condensor i was thinking about installed to get some more ground action around the bay+motor, maybe i will hook that up

I have been taking my time so im just trying not to rush things! hahaI bought new termanials and a battery last night, so we might be giving it a shot on THUR or FRI

The wiring harness was done at UPgarage, in University Place washington state, i also bought the rb25det from them, they have been around for 20 years and all the 240 guys in the area are bringing their cars in for swaps, there clean, and pros. One of the best places around me and on another forum (northwestnissans.com)

damn no dice.....i had problems getting the fuel pump to turn on and i traced it to the wiring, i had to cut the harness switch for it and ground it, now it works but have a jumper in the EGI pump relay spot and an open wireThe shop that did the wireharness said to DRIVE THE CAR in and they would take care of it.

But still wont start up ECU check engine light is on... and solid light from the ECU dunno what that meansGuess im in for some more hours of searching, just cancelled my drifting school class... f'in sucks

Screw that shop. If they messed up your wiring they owe you to tow it in to them so they can fix it! I had a wiring issue and the company that made my harness refunded me some money for my troubles!

silly me had the fuel lines swappedstarted right up after that, it still bogs down a little, i got to set the fuel pressure right, it was at like 20, found it i should be around 42.5But the wiring is a little messed up, i had to ground out the signal wire for the fuel pump off the ecu harness and pull the EGI relay and put it wire in to make it always run... pain in butt
