About to buy a pre-owned QX50

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Hi all,

I'm about to make a deal of a pre-owned 2015 QX50 with 7k km in the infiniti dealer.. This is the AWD version with already navigation system.
I'm not sure what extras can the 2015 model take, so I could add in to the deal and try to squeeze it out.
I'm already having insurance, car registration and warranty extension. Going to try to squeeze decent tires for it depending on which ones it has (I didn't check it today). SO any more extras that I could ask or try to negotiate?
Also how easy are the NAV system updated? Only with the factory CD's?

thanks everyone..

One thing that got me on the Ex35 was the power drop down seating for the cargo. Unfortunately mine didn't have that but I'm fine with how flat the space can get. Maybe it's something you should make sure your pre-owned model has? :)

Thanks for the heads up.
Before I decided I was seeing a couple of other brands etc, so I'm not sure now about it... I'm sure I've seen the buttons but cannot remember, thks for heads up.
Ill probably ask for a cargo area protector also... it's a cheap accessory and I'm sure they also wouldn't say no to that.

For thd money, I would not get a QX50. The average MPG is probably only around 19 MPG combined, and that was from my EX35 AWD. I had a loaner QX50 and I was only getting 17-18. MPG combined. This is a normal city/hyw combined and not gunning the gas pedal.

I would find a better Crossover than this...

Fuel price is not much a concern as I'm in UAE and I fill up the tank with .
I'm being able to do an average of 26 mpgh on average... I'm within city but my commute drives are 90% flat road, straight road @ 62mph with no stops. Eventually I can even lower it.

But thanks for the post, in any other country I might certainly consider other fuel efficient car for the price.

Fuel efficiency is the tradeoff for such great power and drive, something not found on an RDX or NX
