I'm about to sell my F250 and get a used G37, probably a 2010. I've had a Mustang GT in the past so I'm looking forward to getting back into a sportier car. Couple questions:

- What should I expect to pay? I'm in Dallas and have seen them for around $29 - $32k with 10 - 25k miles. How much room does the dealer have? Realize this is a tough question, but can they be talked down a grand or two?

- I've seen some posts about mpg and wondered if around 22 or so is reasonable. Any mods to be done to improve this such as air intake, programer, ect?

- Any ideas on when the body style is supposed to change? Are they coming out with a new one in the next year or two?

Thanks, looking forward to owning one.

If new you should be able to talk them down quite a bit off sticker price since the 2011's are out. When I picked up my coupe I offered $5-6k below sticker and it was accepted without hesitation. Used? May be another deal altogether.

I get around 22-28mpg hwy depending on conditions ('08 G37 coupe)

2012 should be the next upgrade. Unknown what it will really look like at this time. http://www.infinitig37.com/next-g37.html

Dealers usually have a little room on used cars. You can probably pick up a brand new 2011 sedan for about $35k with premium pkg. If you want a 6MT (sport, navi, premium std) you can probably get to $37. In both cases, you can probably get down a little more but not much. If you can spend a little extra and are going to own this car, buying new is not a bad idea.

Mileage depends on your driving style. I think 22 mpg is reasonable if you are 50/50 city/highway and you are generally a conservative driver. I've heard of a lot people getting more like 15-18 with heavy city driving.

There should be an all new G in the next year or two. Since this current G is more of an evolution off the first gen G, the next one should be a much bigger improvement. But this is probably at least 18 months away.

I bought a 2010 G37 Vert a couple of months ago. They came down $7000 off the sticker.

I get 17 mpg so far. But, I keep my foot on the throttle as much as possible.

my 2010 G37x says 18.8 MPG on the MPG read out on the dash with a heavy foot. i have 30k on my G37x(yeah i drive alot). I do about 60/40 city/highway driving.

But i will say if i crusie and chill out the highway i barley see the needle move after an hour trip. so i know i'm getting great highway MPG, but i have never stopped to calulate highway milage only.

Thanks everyone. I got around 19 on my Mustang GT with a moderately heavy foot, so I'm betting I could get in the 21 mpg ballpark with the G37. Not the deciding factor in getting the car, just nice to know the possibility with gas prices about to start jumping.

I avg 20-22 mpg with a combination of fairly even hwy/cty driving. I drive moderately with an occasional burst of fun. I measured a 100% hwy trip last year and over a span 200 miles I averaged 27mpg going 70-80mph.
