Whats up guys? I'm new to this forum, but I just bought a 240 so I thought it would be a good place to meet other 240 owners. I plan on doing an sr20 swap and Sylvia s15 front end conversion. Does anyone have any suggestions on paint/graphics?

I would suggest learning how Silvia is properly spelled... then worry about the car.

I've seen it spelled Syliva on many websites. Search Sylvia on google and more comes up than searching for Silvia. I agree though that is is supposed to be spelled Silvia.

:rolleyes Just because other idiots are spelling it wrong doesn't mean you should continue the trend. If you know how it is correctly spelled, then spell it right. spelin stufz rong iznt m@d tYt3 y0!

EDIT: And yeah, searching for "sylvia" on google is going to get you a lot of returns. You know there is a p0rn star named Sylvia. A lot less of those hits are going to be about the Silvia.

Spelled "Sylvia" on many uninformed American websites that dont know jack about JDM Nissan cars. The word is as insulting as "Honduh" is to Honda enthusiasts.

Silvia.

Helps to do a little background reading.

That Silvia is sweet. I see people with those huge graphics and just laugh. Anyway, welcome to the boards and good luck with your project.

graphics are just plain out and out gay! i don't care what graphic it is. (well if your car is tunned at a spot like signal or yashio(SP) factory then i'll get that graphic, but even still it will on;y be so big, like 24 font) oh yeah if you go to a site claiming they have "sylivia" (or how ever the hell they spelled it) would you trust them espically if when they spell it wrong??

no one can tell you what color (if that's what your asking) until they know more about it, what year, what other body style mods you plan on, rims, etc. and even then, the color should be what you like. I'm going blue on my car but that's cuz I like blue, not cuz that's the color everyone else likes. and on graphics; you gotta be more speciffic on what kind of graphics you want, and if your building a show car or not. graphics can be ok on a show car, not the signal auto pinstripe tho. at HIN last year I must have seen 10 different cars with that signal auto pinstripe and by the third car i was like, "oh come on now! give me a break" that graphic only deserves to be on a car tuned by signal auto (btw don't they have a shop now in cal? so you wouldn't have to go to japan to get tuned by them) nomatter what you go with just remember; multiple colors and graphics may seem like the thing right now, but it's just a fad. In 5 years, a nice solid clean color will still look good while a two tone paint job with crazy graphics will be "like OMG that's sooo 2003, ugh!"
