I drift on ST115 that still has the stickers on it. I wouldn't have it any other way at this point. Using cheapo tires is only good to a point. Once you can sustain a drift or you have some decent wheels, it's time to get some decent tires.crzycav86 wrote:For drifting, get whichever tire is cheapest.. because it won't last long either way.
Lots of pros stagger tires. I don't think they get laughed at too often.crzycav86 wrote:And your tire size is wrong. it should be 195 or 205 /60/15. Don't stagger the tire sizes unless you want to be made fun of.
Well, how often do you drift, and how long have you had these tires? If your tires last a long time, maybe you're doing it wrong... or you're like me and only do it when you can take advantage of the rain.ChunkiDori wrote:

does the pic in my sig look like i'm doing something wrong? I drift once or twice a month, and depending on how much track time I get, I will take a pair of ST115 and be on wires by the end of the day.crzycav86 wrote:Well, how often do you drift, and how long have you had these tires? oh yeah, for sure. staggering tires 'for performance' on alloys is like wearing a sticker on your forehead that says 'i'm an idiot.' but he doesn't say he has stock alloys. for all we know, he could be jdm tight with some 16x9 -10 with fender flares. though you're probably right, stock alloy fo life.crzycav86 wrote:Who puts staggered tires on stock alloys? well, you're used to hopping on the bandwagon... toot toot!PGBrian wrote:in any case, i'm probably changing to Falkens as well. hop hop hop on the wagon. woo wooooo
