about the kyb gr-2 gas shocks

not much on teh gr-2. i understand i lose adjustability etc etc but i need shocks pretty bad. searches have shown nothing so now im asking

1. will they work with the stock spring? When i mean work, i mean it will maintain ride confort and not kill the spring etc etc. 2. should i buy new strut/shock mounts and dust covers? or will the old ones hold?3. if in the future i purchase coilovers, will it work with the gr-2? autox is a possiblity
