one t28? so im guessing u arent using ONE t28 on a RB. So what motor are u using the t28 on? that will totally change the HP output that you could reach

there is a huge difference. On an Rb26 the twin turbos can make around 400whp whereas the rb26 t28 on a ka24 should make around 260ish whp at 12psi. I actually ran that same setup before. Its kick ***

yeah its worth the 200 bucks. I was faster with my rb26 t28 setup than my friend with a gt28rs. with the 2.4 liter u are gettin pretty quick spool to begin with. Spooling extremely early isnt needed cuz u just spin

My buddy made 232whp on his KA24 with an RB25 Turbo at 6psi. Pretty impressive if you as me.

heres my input on the situation.. use the t25 until you get a ball bearing t28 cause on a KA your probably gonna urge towards cranking up the boost controller and push the turbo.. And the t28 off a RB26DETT is a ceramic wheel and they like to explode when over boosted.. On a 26 with the twins ive been told not to go over 14 pounds and thats with two turbos.. So as a single set up thats scary..

you definitely woulnt want to run more than 12psi on a stock ka24 block either. Its been done a ton but for reliability i wouldnt go over 12psi. If you want 350whp u better ditch the whole t2 series man. ur gunna need to use a t3/to4e .57 trim at least to get 350whp at 10-12psi

well I just happend to see something last night to help you realize the weak state the t28 off a 26 are in.. At a local shop im friends with they were dynoing a rb26 s14.. I heard he was pushing 16.8 pounds of boost and right there i was like uh oh.. well after working with the afc on the dyno they desided to drive it on the street.. I was standing outside the shop when i heard them start coming back.. As soon as they hit the parking lot i could hear a chattering/clicking noise.. and when they got closer you could hear it really well.. It was coming from the intake side of the head. Once they began to dig into it to figure out what was going wrong they discovered metal blades in the intake manifold and in the head making there way into the cylinders.. what had happend was to much boost cause the wheel to grenade and shot pieces of the wheel into the intake.. the noise was the pieces of the wheel bouncing around on the valves in the head trying to get into the cynlinder.. So think about that.. I'd recommend like a japanese made t3/t4 of some sort if you trying to stay semi cheap.. and if your trying to spend some money then go with say a ball bearing garret gt3037 or gt3071R.. Or possibly a hks gt2835

wow, thats expensive.

... thanks for the feedback

luckily i just sold my rb26 t28,

s14 t28 or save up and go gt2871r.the bigger t3\t4's seem laggier I dont want to loose that smooth powerband.

the best ka-t setup i ran was a Pulsar GTiR t28. Try to get ur hands on one of those. Really hard to, but DEFINITELY worth the money. They make amazing power with awesome spool time

Wow, thats weird that blades could get through the tiny fins in the intercooler.
