about smoke from head

ok guys this is weird but after i race with another sr20det my head starts to make smoke from the head. it smokes really bad, i was wondering if any of you guys knows was going on? the smoke is from the head to the velve cover. any ideas ??:(

white smoke from my engine head, do you have the sr brackets with it cuz the ka brackets dont fit sr block ??

white smoke is generally coolant.. and the brackets I have but they don't bolt onto the motor, they bolt onto the chassis. El Fin.

hmmm, but you see? the smoke doesnt come from the exhaust its from the head, there are no sparks on the head how could oil or cooleant being burnt from the head ? the only way i could think of its the pistons that making the white smoke. would you think i would have crack my engine head thats why smoke from the pistons are coming out of the head ? any help would be appreciated thx...

leaks onto something hot, do a compression for fun and see for sure

Check for oil leaks around the valve cover aka rocker cover gasket. It could be leaking oil into the plug holes or exhaust, then being burned off after a hard run... You may just need a new valve cover gasket. They dry up and crack over time on all engines.

Stock sr intake piping and SMIC correct? Or is it aftermarket / coustom? And in either case your valve cover breather is hooked to a non pressurized line (pre turbo) right?
