? about oil line to turbo--

ok -- as i put on the oil ilne from the rb20 -

-- there are two copper rings - i put one on TOP - and ONe below the line into the turbo -- it started to leak ---- never done it beforemy ? is can i just run both on top == or just ONe on top and leave the bottom clear to just screw on ---

? gona go back out side and try it ---- but watch movie first so hopfully somebody can answer this ?

You need both copper crush washers to seal the hard line. Also make sure you are not reusing old washers, this might be why its leaking

awsome--- thanks a bunch -- that explains it all --just removied two broken manifold bolts --- lol dang i knew it was so eazy thanks for the infoit helped alot

I had a hard time finding the right size crush washer to get my feed line to seal. I ended up going to the dealer and getting ones for a z31, fit like a glove.

kool- ended up getting some from AUTOzone--- its fits fine-- just not running normal- keep having trouble with this motor--- smoke keeps coming from the manifold---- cant really tell were it comes from -- already took it apart like 3 time and tryed 3 diffrent things and nothing is working- it sucks can drive it anywere- shooting black smoke - it really sucks - im getting to the point of just selling the car - or just buying a new motor-dam didnt want to spend this much on just a rb20- - also could smoke be coming the the exhuast gasket- cuz i noticed that they are seperatings -examplet spliting in HALF - could this be Y its letting some smoke fron the manifold-also had to extract to manifold bolts - dam-- ijust want it to run like before i took it apat- lol any suggestion on fixing the problem

hahahah Dam out zone-- dam washers - didnt work worth a ???? lol-- so i decreased my motor so i could see were the smoke was coming from - clean let sit - then turned on -- smoke was coming for the oil line- dam washers didnt work after all - lol atleast i think i solved the problem will be going to the nissan dealer for some z31- thanks for the info Jmdser... should solve the prolbme- oil started smoking once the oil started hitting hte Turbo - dont think its gasket - so ill try the washers first
