The dip stick (oil level gauge according to Infiniti), has been difficult to insert since we bought this car, I thought the dipstick was just bent out of shape so I ordered a new one, Got the new one today ( from Everything infiniti), and it's just as hard to insert as the old one!!, yes. I'm inserting it with the arrow facing forward, What is most likely causing this? The dipstick tube? is there a trick to checking the oil on an Infiniti that I don't know about? How hard is it to replace the dipstick tube? I see a bracket towards the top is there anything on the bottom where I can't see? Thanks

Both of mine have always been a little rough. Just have to work with it until it goes in... making sure the arrow points forward seems to help too.
