So far i've seen the majority or a lot have been using short ram instead of the cold. Just curious why most 240's use SRI instead of CAI. Because i was about to grab myself a CAI from AEM as always just like when i had my integra. Besides from getting Hydrolock, any help would be appreciated.

Um, I think the idea is that the shorter the distance, the stronger the charge.

From what I remember. From a stoplight, given everything else is the same, the short ram has an advantage. From a rolling start, the cold air has an advantage. The difference is neglible tho imho.

The other thing is short ram usually sounds a little beefier (that is if your exhaust & header aren't too loud where you can actually hear your intake, haha).

It also tends to look cleaner since the battery is usually relocated to the trunk, I suppose.
