mine was, slipped right in, need to jack the car though, since it's one piece and not 2 piece like the OEM cast headers. Also make sure you get the right one, mine was a KA24E

mm, all of the ebay stores say 89-94 KA24DE or SR20DE, i'm assuming that the KA24E is included, right? because i looked for ones made specifically for the singlecam and came up empty.

Exhausts Go By Chassis Code, Not Motor. So S13 Exhaust Should Work For S13 With A SR, KA,or CA.

Ive been rockin an ebay n1 style 3'' on my KA-T for over a year now. I havent had any problems with it and it rains here ... alot. At idle it has a nice low rumble and when you get on the gas it gets loud (3''testpipe) but not raspy. After spending so much money on my other turbo parts I just couldnt afford a 600+ for a few pieces of metal tubing welded together.

your dumb, how is an HKS 3" inch pipe going to perform better than an eBay 3" pipe, there the same ****, just a damn pipe.

Serious, buy eBay and use the money saved to buy REAL parts. Exhaust is honestly a joke, doesn't do that much.

I think if you're going to buy an ebay exhaust based on all these recommendations, yo should also ask how low the guys with them are and how low you plan on going. Because I have seen many Ebay exhausts that fit so badly ground clearence is a very real problem.

See, I bought that same N1 style exhasut off Ebay, but traded it to a friend instead of mounting it. The first time I followed behind him, I noticed how low it sat. I know he's going to have problems with it when he decides to lower the car. And within 4 months of him having it, the muffler came loose from the piping and he had to go get it re-welded.

Like I said, these things are luck of the draw. Sometimes they're ok, somtimes they're absolute crap. My next exhaust with be the Circuit Sports. Whoever said the CS exhaust was the same kind of ebay brand product doesn't know what they're talking about. Great look and since it's bein discountined right now, you can get one cheaper than a comparable BRM.

i think s13 seems to have more problems with ground clearance especially the dual n1 knockoffs. (ssac's).

my s14 w/ ebay exhaust is fine. fitment was good, quality was alright. seems to be developing some surface rust around the hanger parts welded to the pipe but nothing serious. been over a year now and no problems, i just need new hangers cause my exhaust shakes like crazy. only complain i have is they don't have a 2.5" piping. if they did i would jump on it. or even a 2.25" piping. right now i'm running a silencer and it's decent...but i rather run a silencer and not get a ticket than not run one and get pulled over. (i only got 1 ticket and that was when i wasn't using silencer).

On top of that it sounded like a bumble bee trapped in a tuna can. I saved up and put a Circuit Sports dual tip 3" exhaust on my car, best choice I could have ever made.
Do you have a hatch?

And if you do does it rub the bumper or sit slightly below the bumper because i wanted that one but i don't want it if it is going to start melting shizzle.

Thanks

i guess i'll post something. Im running an ebay Dump Pipe, Downpipe, and test/resonator on my CA18 right now and its good ****. i also bought the FMIC for my car from ebay and is good stuff. Idk if anyone has bought anything off ebay from CXRacing, CXlighting, CXmotorsport, or just-intercoolers, but i also got a new manifold from http://www.cxracing.com and it looks like good stuff. haven't installed it yet due to winter, but its pretty nice IMO.

i also plan on buying my catback from Just-Intercoolers on eBay (same company as CXRacing, and all others listed above). anybody running it?

I honestly like mine alot. Only problem is the flange that bolts the two together is rubbing on the subframe making a super annoying rattle. I'm gonna fix that very soon. But I like the sound of it, and for 160 shipped you cant beat that.

Also, I hear of more problems with the N1 Duel eBay exhaust than the single 4.5" tip one.

that first page was funny

anyways, reasons why id rather save up $600 and get BRM exhaust over an ebay exhaust that i could shave a **** load of money on

1. ebay exhausts tend to have crappy fitment and hang really low2. I have yet to find an ebay exhaust that has anything smaller than 3" piping

ok, if cutting is required due to fitment reasons, it wont cost another $400 to do that. and if its hanging low, cut the hangers a little bit, no biggy.

nothing smaller than 3" piping is nothing to complain about IMO, unless its for n/a.

i agree with you on #2. #1 is false at least on s14's in my experience. however i also wish i just saved up and went BRM. back then i didn't think the 3" would be that loud because on youtube and other sound clips it sounds "nice" but you don't notice how loud it is. brm also looks more stock (the dual tip) and smaller piping choice can make it a lot quieter w/o the use of a silencer. good choice sketchy.

I tinted my tail lights with some kind of sprayable tint. Ill get the name for you tomorrow. Probly the same stuff that guy used. My ebay exhaust looks just like his. And what theyre saying about wanting a 2.5" instead of 3" because it is quieter is stupid. The ka is a big enough motor that it need a 3" exhaust, and any turboed car you want atleast a 3". If you want your car loud and raspy and it N/A then take the catalyctic converter out. My friends 93 we put a test pipe header and cat-back all from ebay on there and it was kind of loud but sounded good. Heres a vid of it, its the hatch.http://vids.myspace.com/index....45141

If there was such thing as a $300 titanium exhaust everyone would have one. I bought my catback because it would add a nice tone. My exhaust is quiet, just the way I like it. I didn't put some loud fart can on my stock KA. My "Burger King wages" do afford real aftermarket parts. It's called saving, and not buying knockoffs because you want instant satisfaction. I'm not saying they are crap products (all the time.)

Because he's JDM-tyte y0! Everybody knows that a huge exhaust on an otherwise unmodified car makes you super cool.

(don't even say anything about your mods, you just said you don't care about performance because it's a daily driver)

I have a 650 dollar exhaust on my DD. And it is a SOCH 2.0 4G94 AT. All because i wanted the sound to be perfect. And i got what i paid for. GReddy EvO2 Catback. And the car does NOT have a turbo. It is a full 3inch exhaust. Needed? no, Wanted? yes.

Not trying to defend this guy, But my Daily has money put into it simply because i feel i should treat my cars equally.

I also paid 700 for a near mint S13 Aero front bumper. Simply because i wanted it. Weather or not its worth 700 to you guys. It is worth 700 to me.

I think people will spend their money where they see it fit. 1) because it is their money and. 2) Because it is THEIR MONEY.

I don't think i am a ricer for doing what i did.

One Love,

Ghasty

Ebay exhausts are obnoxious. I have not heard one that doesn't sound raspy as hell. I don't take my car to the track, and the roads aren't **** where I live, so I don't have to worry about destroying it. I only have one car, why not put quality parts on it? I don't pay bills or anything (yet).

Ebay exhausts usually don't have resonators But the reason I don't want one is because they usually sound crappy and none come with dual tips.

I'll get mine made cheap (hopefully) at a muffler shop.

to each his own. ppl will buy ebay exhaust and love them, and otheres will spend $500 on name brand exhausts, even though its the same as ebay ****. The only difference might be the Muffler having better "muffling" abilities lol.

exhaust IMO, one of the FEW things you CAN buy on ebay. i wouldn't buy a Turbo or pistons or anything like that off ebay unless it was from, say, FR Sport, since i know they sell pistons and stuff on ebay as well. but i wouldn't buy an off brand turbo and put it on my engine no no lol

and has anybody ever bought one of those exhaust that are like $1,500? i forgot who makes it but thats just outrageous lol. i'll stick with my $150 ebay stuff

I bought my Apexi for almost 600 at Topspeed. I dont really care for the sound, decided to go this way because i upgraded to an sr20det. And yes I know the oem exhaust will also fit the sr, and no my sr is NOT stock. I wanted it to be able to breath at its fullest potential and 3" lets it do just that. Plus I know i will keep this car till my time comes ( ) so decided to go with a good product.

BTW: I am in no way bashing anyone with an ebay exhaust.
