hey guys im sure this topic has been brought upon us before but maybe i was too late cause didn't see nor can i find a post.. The wires from the ECU harness(engine harness) connecting to the dash harness..
doing a (95)s14 into a (89)s13, and there's the wiring issue about the dash harness getting cut and soldering off.. im curious cause there's 16 connector holes and im only really using the five listed
yellow/red---techyellow/green----speedometerorange----ignition switchblack----groundblue/black----water temp sensor
but what about the other.?? i know and im no longer going to be able to use the SOHC's diagnostic CONSULT tool, but just curious about the other wires.. so im curious if anyone know where the others goes or IF someone can point me towards the s13 FSM so i can look it up.... does the 92-94 s13 have a diagnostic CONSULT tool like the single cams that works and functions the same..?
also on these swap im always reading and seeing people saying about cutting the harness blah blah and soldering em together later.. but instead of that i just simply unplug the ones i need and don't need and just hook em up.. plug and play i guess!!.. i don't know i just try to avod the whOle cutting and soldering stuff..
ONE LAST QUESTION OR SAYING...whats the diffrence between the single cam s13 and the twin cam s13 dash features etc..??
