Just out of curiocity.

Was talking with a friend about some coil overs and he said he would recommand me coilover from D2 if I wanted BMW like cornering. And he said he often seen it perchasable at $600 at group buys.

What do you think?

no personal experiance but from the way I hear them talked about it seems like their main appeal is their price, If you are looking for "bmw like" handling I would save up some more and buy in the 1000 range, If your looking for a budget coilover, then go with the d2's, although I know I have seen more then one complaint about bild quality/fitment issues( I think it was just filling one of the bolt holes to fit)

Good luck finding them for $600 now. They were $600 when they first came out a year ago. I think the current price is in the $800 range, which still isn't that bad.

Anyway, I like mine. I can't compare it to other coilovers, since I haven't tried anything else yet... If someone tells you that they're crap, ask them if they've used them on their car. That will answer whether they can legitimately make that kind of judgement.

If I were you, I'd save up a little more and get those nifty kts coilovers, or tein he.

I agree with the KTS recommendations, I have the D2 as well. They're pretty nice, but I kinda wish I would've foot the extra bill for the better ones. The main thing I despise about the D2's is both what I've seen of customer service for them, and the irreputable dealers to whom you have to purchase them with. Same goes for the KSPORT, whereas you buy the KTS, you have splparts.com to back them up.
