Ok what is all that is needed to run a wideband O2 sensor? Would the bosh wideband sensor and a air/fuel gauge be enough?

i wouldn't just "pick one" not all controllers are made equally. here's a good read for ya written by mike kojima...and if you don't know who kojima is then you don't belong in the nissan world! :P

I am using an Innovate wideband setup - came with the controller, digital gauge and sensor for 229 - Works great and was easy to install. http://www.diyautotune.com/cat....html

That link is fine, except we can't see the results without a subscription!

The innovate 189 setup is just a controller and sensor, you will need a laptop to view what is going on.

Ok this is something you really dont need to cut corners on. A wideband will be your best friend in trouble diagnosis and is essential if you plan on tuning the car.

a proper wideband set up will run around $250 new sticker price. So with a little searching im sure you will find some good prices south of $200. The AEM eugo is everything you need, the controller is built into the gauge and comes with the sensor. Same goes for alot of the inovative set ups. Just make sure when you look at the product descriptions that it says something about the controller.

Im a college student too and know how it is with money(especially with a RB25) but it really is worth saving for a little longer to buy quality electronics for your RB build up.

my bad...posted the wrong link. here's the complete review with results. for the record all innovate systems use the same sensor and controller.

http://www.innovatemotorsports...t.pdf

for the record the one downfall to the aem is integration into any other system other then an aem ems. compatibility and program-ability of the innovate series is second to none

Thank you for the article and I think I am set on the innovate looks like thats the best for me and since I am new to tuning I want to remove the doubt that the sensor is bad! Need to make sure its me that needs to correct the problem not the sensor lol! Thanks for all this help! So anyone find a good deal on the innovate? lol I am going to start looking
