? about a turbo

i have a t25 sitting in my garage. but it needs to be rebuilt. it is a SR turbo with a/r of .80, is this the right size for about 250hp. is there any other a/r that can be changed. also wat has to be changed. the turbo has alot of shaft play, and i guess it leacked oil.. it cost me 275 bux to get it rebiult. is this worth it?

seriously you can get alot better of a turbo than you have for less than it's going to cost to rebuild that one. JMHO

ok. but thats bid only. i wanna just buy it now. or wat about boostdesign. i know there has been lots of problem with them, but, that t3/t4 turbo they have for 375. is that worth it. or can anyone find something better and cheaper good for about 250hp+

i'm sure someone on this forum is selling a t3/t4 or maybe a t04b for a fair price if its used. maybe look around

dont go with boost designs stuff...just my oppinion

like my friend import ant mentioned...dont go rebuild that turbo when you can spend less buying a good used turbo that is bigger for a fraction of the cost or even buy a new t3....there not expensive these days....and they can put out more than that t2-small turbo you have there....take me for example....i always buy local...never online....and if i do go online...its rare for over net transactions....but i bought a brand new t4/t04b turbo for 120 from a local guy...you just have to know when to buy and when not to...its all about knowing a good.

where can i get one online, cuz i checked everywere, and couldn't find a good turbo. but anyways, are SR turbos good too? yea i know that t3/t4 are better, but were can i fing one either new or rebiult.
