Did a bunch of searches on multiple sites. Cannot find a how-to on testing and cleaning the AAC. I want to do this along with adjusting my timing and testing/cleaning the IACV. Also looking for how-to on the IACV. Found a lot about replacement, and read that people HAVE tested and cleaned the IACV and AAC, but cannot find info on the how part. Please help, thanks.

Cleaning the Idle Air Control Valve (IACV)/Auxillary Air Control valve (AAC) is easy once it out. As far as testing it thats unnesssiary becuase I have not seen on fail. But just hook it up to the battery and make sure the valve moves all the way open.

You can shoot some WD-40 down the IACV hose with the engine running. It's actually a good thing to do once or twice a year, to keep everything lubed up.
