I have a '95 240sx, completely stock. The CEL came on and the dealer said the code was for AAC Valve. What I would like know is if the valve can be taken out and cleaned or does it have to be completely replaced? Also, if it has to be replaced, how difficult would it be to do? Thanks.

The AAC is connected to the IAA valve which is located below the intake manifold towards the firewall. There is a small dime size hole with an adjuster you can turn with a flathead screwdriver to adjust idle, take that part off and take it apart and clean it out and see what happens. It is not hard to take out and service, there is just very little room to work in while taking it out and replacing it.
