Got a new intake manifold, and wanted to know if i can get rid of the aac valve. I searched and the only thing i can come up with it, the aac has something to do with the idle. Anyone ever run without one? I have a power fc for idle adjustment if it can help with the aac being removed. I need to know experiances with this. Thanks.

Sure you can, but it will not idle...

The aac is a vlave that is controlled by the ECU that allows air to enter the intake mani when the throttle body is closed. So without it no air can get into the engine, so it will stall.

ok, you are right that the stock ecu controls the iacv valve to adjust idle. But does the power fc do the same thing. I always thought that power fc uses a different function to control idle.

i dont have much expierence with the pfc, however how else could it control idle? The only other way to get air past the throttle body is opening it.
